Be careful when you assemble this birdbath...

It is very light-weight. I added rocks to the tube to hold the base down, and when I did, the tube separated from the base at the point it was soldered...Now I had to rig up a way to keep the tube on the base!

Looks pretty, but am afraid that it will blow over in a strong wind!

After seeing reviews for other solid copper birdbaths purchased online, I was worried about buying a solid copper bowl 'sight unseen' that would turn out to be the thickness of aluminum foil. However, the copper used in this bowl is a reasonable thickness so it will not bend or dent or sag and the birdbath arrived quickly, in perfect condition. Most happy with the product and the price.

The product itself is outstanding, BUT there are negatives... - Holistic Doc - Idaho
The shipping carton was in fine condition when it arrived. The protective packaging was more than sufficient. But the bowl itself in its plastic bag was considerably bent and dented, obviously packed that way. I had to fix it in my shop. It remains with a slightly distressed look which, as it ages, will likely not be objectionable. However, my expectation was that the vendor would have practiced more effective quality control.
